Once your system is fully enrolled and actively supporting the electricity grid, your Grid Rewards earnings are paid monthly, directly into your bank account.
Flexible Grid Reward Plan
For Flexible Grid Rewards, your system starts earning in the 4th full month after installation. This is because the enrollment process takes three months, as the grid operator requires Emaldo to demonstrate that our batteries can provide the promised capacity.
After this period, your system begins participating in balancing sessions, and earnings will appear in the app.
Payments are made monthly, one month in arrears, and will arrive in your nominated bank account no later than the 24th of the month after you start earning.
Banks may take up to five working days to clear the funds.
Worked example:
You sign up on 25 January.
Enrollment is completed across February, March, and April.
You start earning for your system participating in May.
Payment for May's earnings will reach you no later than 24 June.
Guarantee Grid Rewards Plan
With the Guarantee plan, earnings appear in the app from the first day of the month following your sign-up.
You will receive payment for that month's earnings no later than the 24th of the next month.
Worked example:
You sign up on 25 January.
Earnings start showing in the app from 1 February.
Payment for February's earnings will reach you no later than 24 March.
