Once your system is fully enrolled and actively supporting the electricity grid, your Grid Rewards earnings are paid monthly, directly into your bank account.
For both the Flexible and Guaranteed Grid Rewards schemes, your system starts earning in the 4th full month after signing up. This is because the enrolment process takes three months, as the grid operator requires Emaldo to demonstrate that our batteries can provide the promised capacity.
After this period, your system begins participating in balancing sessions, and earnings will appear in the app.
Payments are made monthly, one month in arrears, on the 24th of the following month (or the next business day).
Banks may take up to five working days to clear the funds.
Worked example:
You sign up on 25 January.
Enrollment is completed across February, March, and April.
You start earning for your system participating in May.
Payment for May's earnings is made on 24 June (or the next business day).
