Providing your Meter IDs is now a mandatory requirement when signing up for Grid Rewards. Without them we are not able to register your system with the Grid Operators and you are unable to participate in the scheme.
You can read more about this here: https://help.emaldo.com/hc/en-150/articles/26806457637532-Why-do-you-need-my-Meter-ID-s
Your 'Meter ID Production' is associated with electricity exported back to the grid. This ID should have been provided to you at the point of installing your solar system, battery system or solar and battery together.
If you do not have this, you need to contact you local distribution company (DSO).
I have been advised to enter 18 0’s instead, what should I do?
It depends where you are located. In the Netherlands a separate Production ID is not assigned when having a solar or battery system installed, at the moment. Entering 18 0’s instead of a unique Production ID is what we request you do.
In the future this may change, and when it does we will update you accordingly.
If you are located in Denmark, Sweden, Finland or the Czech Republic we need your unique Production ID. If you have a solar system installed this will have been assigned when you had that system installed. It is the obligation of the installer to liaise with the Grid Operator to complete this.
If you have provided 18 0’s, then this is incorrect and your Grid Rewards earnings will have been paused. To restart you participation you need to contact Emaldo using help@emaldo.com and provide your correct Production ID.
If you cannot find this, you need to contact you local distribution company (DSO), or the installer who installed your system.
I only have a battery, do you still need the Production ID?
Yes. We are sorry. We have previously advised that Production ID’s only apply if you have a solar system. We received guidance from the Grid Operators that Production ID’s also apply in cases where there is just a battery system installed, without solar.
If you have previously provided 18 0’s your Grid Rewards earnings will have been paused. To restart your participation you need to contact Emaldo using help@emaldo.com and provide your correct Production ID.
If you cannot find this, you need to contact you local distribution company (DSO), or the installer who installed your system.
