How often do you release updates?
Our updates tend to be released once a month. Not all updates will impact both the customer app and system. All of our updates go through rigorous testing processes and we will communicate what updates mean for you in advance of the update being released. System updates happen “over the air” and usually no action is required by you, the system owner, but updates to the Emaldo app will usually require you to update the app version from your preferred app store.
Depending on the nature and impact of the updates we will also prepare help articles and guides for you to refer too.
I’ve noticed unexpected changes to my app and system, why is that?
While we try our best to identify every potential bug during testing phase, like all technology companies today we anticipate the likelihood of missing a few. When that happens, we work to fix those bugs and release those fixes as soon as possible - outside of the regular monthly release schedule. This is common practice in modern software development, and some fixes will not require you do update your app.
This practice of continuous improvement probably explains why your app or system has some minor updates without any explicit communication.
