When the system can communicate with the smart meter, a symbol appears on the display of the smart meter.
How to install direct smartmeter.
The direct smartmeter must be installed at the first point of the power supply.
For wiring connection please see the illustration below.
How to install CT-meter.
The CT-clamps must be installed at the first point of the power supply.

The communication cable between the Emaldo® Power Core and the Smart meter is 5 & 6 in the Emaldo® Power Core (RJ45) to 21 & 22 in the smart meter.
Recommended cable type is Cat6 shielded or better
During every Emaldo system installation, installers must verify that all phases are correctly matched between the smart meter and the Emaldo Grid Connector.
The required phase correspondence is:
L1 on the smart meter must connect to L1 on the Emaldo Grid Connector.
L2 on the smart meter must connect to L2 on the Emaldo Grid Connector.
L3 on the smart meter must connect to L3 on the Emaldo Grid Connector.
When using a directly connected smart meter, the neutral conductor must be correctly connected on both sides of the meter.
Incorrect phase connections can cause the smart meter to measure household consumption on one phase while the Emaldo system supplies energy on another phase. This may result in unintended battery export to the grid, incorrect self consumption support, and improper system operation.
As a standard installation procedure, every installer must verify the phase correspondence and neutral connection before commissioning the system. The system should also be monitored after commissioning to confirm that it supports household consumption correctly and does not export battery energy unintentionally.
