Please open the small door located on the top right side of the cabinet.
Facing the Emaldo® Power Core, you will find the cable cover on the right-hand side of the system..
Unscrew the two screws securing the cover over the cables using a Torx 10 screwdriver.
This will provide access to the buttons.
⚡ Before You Begin: Quick Tip
In many cases, WiFi connection issues can be resolved with a simple reboot:
1. Turn off your Emaldo unit by pressing and holding the big red power button for a few seconds. Then also turn off your router, Wi-Fi extender, or mesh system.
2. Wait at least 5 minutes.
3. Turn everything back on. Start your Emaldo unit by pressing and holding the big red power button for a few seconds, then turn on your router, Wi-Fi extender, or mesh system.

📶 Step-by-Step: Reconnecting WiFi on Your Emaldo Unit
1. Press the IoT Button
- Briefly press the IoT button for 1–2 seconds.
- You should hear a single beep.
⚠️ Do not hold the button for more than 10 seconds — this will trigger a factory reset.
👉 If you don’t hear a beep, continue to the next step anyway.
2. Power Down All Devices
- Turn off your router, modem, and Emaldo unit.
- Wait 30 minutes before proceeding.
3. Clear Old Network Records (If Available)
- Using your router’s mobile app or web interface, check the list of connected devices.
- Look for a device named HP5000 (typical for Emaldo units) and remove or forget it.
4. Restart All Equipment
- Power your router, modem, and Emaldo unit back on.
- Allow at least 5 minutes for everything to fully reboot.
5. Reconnect Using the App
- Open the Emaldo app and select “Reconfigure” if prompted.
- If no prompt appears, go to Advanced Settings and manually select your WiFi network.
6. Still Not Connecting? Try a Mobile Hotspot
- Use your mobile phone’s hotspot to test the connection.
- If this works, the issue is likely with your home network (outside Emaldo’s control).
- If the hotspot also fails, proceed with a factory reset.
🧼 Factory Reset Instructions
Perform the Factory Reset
- Press and hold the IoT button until you hear three beeps.
- The unit will restart automatically.

Wait until you hear two more beeps — this means it’s ready for commissioning.
Next, proceed with commissioning the Emaldo unit.
🧭 Commissioning Your Emaldo Unit

Open the Emaldo app and go to the bottom and choose “add more”.
- Choose the correct Emaldo model from the list.
- Under the 3rd step, choose the system and follow the guide through
The end customer might not know the size of the fuse get them to check.
🆘 If Setup Still Fails
If the unit still doesn’t connect to your home network or hotspot, please contact your installer for further assistance.
✅ After Commissioning Is Complete
- Wait about 30 minutes.
- Reopen the app and rejoin Grid Rewards — your previous details should reappear automatically.
