When an update to the firmware of your Emaldo® system is released, you will automatically receive a notification on your phone telling you so.
To install the firmware update on your system successfully, there are a few requisites that needs to be in place first. These are:
- The battery level of your system must be above 15%.
And a least one of the following conditions must also be met.
- The system is connected to solar panels.
- The system is connected to the public electricity grid.
- There is at least one battery power box installed in the system.
When the above conditions are met, you install the firmware update like this.
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the Device Screen.
- Tap Advanced Settings.
- Tap Firmware Version.
- Confirm by tapping Install.
During the update all loads will automatically be switched to run off the public grid. In case your system is not connected to the grid, all loads will be turned off and cannot be turned on again until the firmware update is completed.
